Gamit ko kasing gui client mldonkey (linux) to download from bittorrent links kaya I dont know how the windows guys use it. Try niyo sa link na to baka matulungan kayo: htt*://ww*.slyck.com/news.php?story=158.
BTW, mldonkey is a p2p client for overnet, fast track (kazaa, imesh), directconnect, soulseek, edonkey (emule), opennap, gnutella, bittorrent, etc. Bale sa lahat ng known p2p networks kaya niya mag-search tsaka download. May plans yata sila na gumawa ng windows version pero as of now, linux pa lang ang meron. I suggest you guys should try it, lalo na yung mga mahihilig sa movies, games tsaka kung ano pang malalaking files.

htt*://ww*.suprnova.org/ lots of TORRENT files here, updated daily
and to answer the topic for those who haven't used BT yet, dl (from htt*://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/ ) and install, then just find a TORRENT file of what you want to get (lots of choices from the first site above)
if it's on a webpage, just click on it with IE, with Opera you'll have to right-click then open it, but it's always better to download the TORRENT file to your pc so you can easily resume it at another time, just double-click on the file, select where you want to save the file(s), then stare at the BT window showing download/upload rate for the file
and even though errors show, you can usually just ignore it coz the GUI just don't refresh the window when it corrects itself (very comonly when a connection is lost, an error is written on the window, then after a while, the download resumes but the error msg is still there, kind of unnerving to say the least...)
haven't tried the other GUI i suggested yet, though, since the regular GUI suits me well enough
