A group of Internet security experts is staging an international conference on cyber security in the country to show how the Philippines can be a leader in ethical hacking.
Ethical hacking is the term used to highlight the protective skills "white hats" employ to protect information systems.
"Our goal is to establish the Philippines as the information systems security hub of Asia," said Nelson Celis, president of the Information Systems Security Society of the Philippines (ISSSP).
