On Freelancer

Whoaaa!!! Ganda ng plot ng Freelancer. Kalaban na namin LSF, hehe. For Freelancer players let's start discussion in this

thread. Although merong FAQ, game guides, tips sa gaming sites, discuss na lang tayo based on our gaminge experience on the

game. Magiging boring kasi pag tiningnan natin spoilers e.

As a starter, i'll give some tips that i discovered in the game while playing.

1. While travelling in a trade lane, you can disrupt it by pressing the ESC key.
Note that travel through trade lanes are auto disrupted when you encounter an enemy along the way.

2. Best ships so far:
Rhino - 80 capacity sa cargo, 3/5 gun/turret
Star-Heavy Fighter - 30 capacity sa cargo, 5/1 gun/turret

Heavy fighter gamit ko at level 8 for maximum damage. Mukhang mas maganda Rhino kaso nag-iipon ako para bumili ng ship

ng Lane Hackers -- 65,000+.

3. Only commidities consumes space on your cargo. Shield Batteries, nanobots, missiles, mines, etc does no -- depends on

the capacity of the ship you have.


Inquiries ko:

1. may useful items ba sa mga mining fields? Mukhang wala ako makita, may nakuha na kayo na something useful?
FYI, may mga undiscovered places to dock within mining fields. Yung iba nga lang sa kalaban.

2. what's the effect declining juni's mission which is part of the main plot? Dalawang beses ko dinecline ok naman.

Mas maganda ang ship na may malaking cargo capacity. Although minimal ang makikitang difference sa heavy fighter na ship nakakapatay din naman at madami pang cargo na naiistore.

Important ang trading for big bucks. ;D

Gamit ko na yung parang bee na spaceship 125 ang cargo 2/5 ang gun/turret, ok lang, parang useless naman ang missile. 2 guns lang ang gamit ko walang missile + 3 turrets.

combat tips:

for those who does not know, there's a "floating" crosshair that looks like a red "+". use it to target evasive enemy ships, it helps you point your shots in advance to hit them head on. i mean you point your targeting reticle on it and fire away.

meron mga class10 weapons na makikita dun sa mga wrecks, you have to destroy those "space debris" first.

sa new london, meron sa 3C (lower center), 5C (lower left), saka 4G (lower left). may makukuha ka dun na Dragoon Type 2, Dragoon Turret Type 1, Dublin Duster Mk. 1, Angelito Mk. 1, mga cardamine (be wary of police patrols though), gold saka artifacts.

makikita mo tong mga wrecks as indicated by a small cross.

marami pa iba, basta me mapansin kayong maliit na cross (mas maliit dun sa "targeting helper") tirahin niyo.

isa pang tip:

pag pinasabog niyo mga kalaban wag niyo kalimutan gamitin yung tractor beam (press B), maraming beses akong naligtas ng ganito pag naubos yung shield battery/nanorobots kasi its either na makakuha ka ng ganun , artifacts o kaya commodities.

Ang bagal nung parang bee na spaceship pero kailangan ko dahil sa trading. malaki cargo nya, mas malaki magiging kita ko sa trading kaysa sa mission. ;D

I need to buy the 65,000+ na ship. Mukhang ok yun.

pinuntahan ko yung 3C, trafalgar post lang ang andun, kalaban sya, after that radiation.

yung 4C din radiation. 5G wala din.

hehe, yung bee type na ship hindi manalo sa racing kay hovis. ;D kahit mauna ka sa kanya sa simula mauunahan ka sa huli. ang hirap pa i-maneuver -- hindi ka makakaliko agad kaya talo ka rin dahil mabubunggo ka sa ring. ;D

Damn! Pinalitan ko sya nung light cruiser na 25,000+. Dapat sa simula pa lang yun na binili ko.

Ultimate ship can be found at nomad system. May turret din dito that does not consume energy.

Declining the plot mission does not have an effect, it makes you able to prepare for it so that you'll have no difficulty in dealing with it.

i found the wrecks, hirap dahil you need to go through hazards like radiation, volatile gases, etc...

the wreck location can be found in your nav map -- marked with red x. you need to go trough the location para lumabas ang redx sa nav map.

there are three ships capable of carrying class 10 weapons: the eagle, the sabre and the titan. as expected, these ships are expensive, but they're also extremely powerful. the eagle's the most agile of the three. the titan, although it flies like a brick, is the most heavily armored.

we can play freelancer online even if we're using a pirated version. PM na lang tayo.

hi sarin, sa anong system makikita yang mga ultimate ships na yan? kala ko yung hammerhead na yung highest level. at wala na ba talaga yung storyline or some bonus if you keep on playing? nakakawalang gana pag di mo na makikita si juni.
