i recommend playing "Vietcong".
have been playing this game lately (vietcong difficulty) and i think this one's rock.
you get to play as a squad leader with your medic, radioman, pointman and a machinegunner.
getting shot in this game is very fatal if not deadly (or it's just because i started playing it on vietcong difficulty) and those darn traps make you cringe on every step you make. fortunately, before any mission you got a chance to read your diary and mission briefings in which you can possibly identify most trap/cache identifiers (ala boyscout trailfinding/trekking). there's a bit of vietnamese warfare history, natives and their way of life.
as a programmer, i respect not to "pirate" every deserving game on the planet. if you liked this game, if you can afford it, then as much as possible buy it. (i might sound weird on this type of forum...)

Gusto ko hack n slash rpg na game. Tinatamad ako maglaro ng tactical.
Old games na marerecommend ko is Might and Magic VII. It's the best in the series.
Dungeon Sige ok din. Madamo na ako nalaro e, kaso gusto ko pa rin yung may puzzles.
Sa SNES laruin nyo Brainlord, o kaya Brandish. Hehe, full of puzzles. May brandish 2 kaso hindi ata translated. Anybody know where to download the english version.
Final Fantasy 3/6 nga pala gusto sa lahat ng Final Fantasy series.
Arcade games: King of Fighters series

have seen this game "Freelancer" some time ago and I though it to be one of those ever-popular space strategy with the likes of master of orion series, rise of the stars, etc. then i though otherwise. behold, this is one of those space shooters that can literally make you sit on the edge of your chairs. this game has a plot wherein you play the character of "Trent", a survivor of a space station name "Freeport 7" turned freelance pilot looking for jobs on inhabited systems. you start the game with only 500 bucks in your pocket, but when you accept a contract from the lady police "i-forgotten-her-name", she'll be generous to let you have a basic fighter. navigation is not problem at all, there are icons and hotkeys you can access to list all possible destinations that your ship can autopilot. far destinations like going to another system can be accomplished via gateways and long travel times can be cut with your ship going to cruise-speed. you can even join formations with your wingmates when going through mission waypoints making cruising, docking, etc will be automatic. if you're familiar with mechwarrior (and the like), this game have also customization wherein you can buy weapons, shields, etc but with a little twist emulating real-life situations when you're on a docking station where you can visit bars, talk to people, hunt prospective employers, etc. combat is fast and furious, you can engage nearest enemies via hotkey and they'll be automatically tagged by a marker. you can shoot them with your standard lasers, turrets, delploy mines, fire missiles or enable some counter-measure equipments. the controls by the way is your mouse, which can be unbelievably fun. i haven't tinkered with options yet to see if you can set alternative controls like analog sticks. maybe it's just me (or my piloting skills ), that i usually survive a swarm of enemies with only slight mar on my ship's "paint-job". or its because i have only played this game just this evening (it's already 3 o clock when i "remember" to get back to reality). i have played this game not installing dx9 and it just run smoothly, and have no plans installing dx9 either. dx9 can only be appreciated with high level vc's like ati radeon 9000 and above, in which dx9 adv. functions can be implemented by those vc's in full potential. overall, i recommend this game 8.5/10

yup!!! freelancer is a good game. tapos ko na pero medyo bobo ako dahil halfway through the game bago ko nalaman na may loot na dapat ikolekta after a fight, and worse, pressing <tab> activates the thruster pala.
the game will get more difficult as your level increases then maybe maranasan mong ubos ang nanobots at shield battery at marami pang kalaban. sa storyline missions ang mahirap na challenges.
and there's enough in junko (juni's real name) to make me go mmmm.... yummy.

I recommend Praetorians! It's a different breed of RTS. More on strategy and practically no resource management. Pero, anak ng pating, saksakan ng hirap!
